Once again, Shirley MacLaine shows how much she loves her job by saying that on her birthday she plans to work. While many people might take time off on their special day, she is choosing to stay busy with her acting career.
“I’m going to the set,” The actress said. “I’ll live in Atlantic City.”
Shirley MacLaine and Peter Dinklage are teaming up for a movie called “American Dreamer.”
“American Dreamer” is a dark comedy that revolves around a struggling, underpaid professor who dreams of building his own house. His aspirations seem impossible until he unexpectedly inherits a grand estate from a wealthy widow. This is the first collaboration between Shirley MacLaine and Peter Dinklage.
In his interview, MacLaine happily shared his experience working with Dinklage. They admitted that since they were collaborating for the first time, they thought there might be some difficulties. But to his surprise everything went very easily. He even mentioned, “We really hit it off.”
he adds, “I think we should care more about what American democracy means,” He said.
“It seems like we’ve forgotten what that means, and I think it’s time we get back to a more realistic level of understanding American democracy.”
Meanwhile, Peter shouted, “It was one of the greatest experiences of my career.”
The film, which also stars Danny Glover and Matt Dillon, is actually based on a true story.
