Randy Moss’s health
A week before ESPN announced his retirement, Randy spoke openly about his health issue. On December 1, 2024, the former wide receiver was given a moment to speak to the audience.
“I just wanted to share something with you all. Randy said, I probably put a post on Instagram a few minutes ago, telling people about my eyes. “And I just want to let the audience know that me and my wife – I and my family – we are struggling with something internally. You know, I have some great doctors around me.”
Randy was referring to an Instagram video he shared, in which he asked “prayer warriors” to think of him and his family during his difficult time. He also encouraged men to have regular medical checkups and blood tests, but did not explain why.
“I couldn’t miss this show. I wanted to be here with you guys,” Randy said during the December 1 episode. “I feel great, but if you all see me with these Michigan turnover glasses on that I’m wearing, it’s going to be insulting.” Ain’t ’cause I’m on television, man. I’m struggling with something. I need all prayer warriors. God bless you all and thank you for your prayers.”
His co-hosts then showed solidarity by wearing sunglasses and saying, “One for all and all for one.”
Randy has not revealed what health condition he and his family are dealing with. However, according to CBS Sports, fans noticed yellowing in Randy’s eyes a few weeks ago.
