The recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live” featured a fun “Mean Girls” reunion, with Lindsay Lohan and Lacey Chabert reprising their roles as Cady Heron and Gretchen Wieners. Host Andy Cohen joined in by wearing a wig to play the part of Regina George.
During the segment, Lohan and Chabert recreated the iconic cafeteria scene from the 2004 film, with Chabert delivering the classic line “Ex-boyfriends are off limits to friends – that’s just, like, the rules of feminism!” Lohan and Chabert both seemed to enjoy revisiting their beloved characters from the beloved teen comedy.
The reunion comes over 20 years after the release of “Mean Girls”. Lohan and Chabert, along with their co-star Amanda Seyfried, have expressed interest in reuniting for a sequel or Broadway adaptation in the past. While a full-fledged reunion hasn’t materialized yet, this “Watch What Happens Live” appearance was a fun way for the two actresses to come together and celebrate their iconic roles.
